Sunday Morning Worship

The River Church worship service time is every Sunday morning at 10:30. We have fellowship 30 minutes before the service that includes coffee, pastries, and just plain ol' fun. For the most part the dress is casual and comfortable. We want to encourage everyone to relax and be themselves.

Worship usually begins with musical praise and worship. We practice a contemporary style of honoring God. This not entertainment, but a time we encourage the entire congregation to participate in. It is in this time that we turn our focus toward God, His Son and the hope they provide.

The service continues with the message. The message is designed to be relevant, thoughtful and refreshing. We introduce a Biblical passage, and then discuss its application to our daily lives in a contemporary society, often addressing practical difficulties we encounter while pursuing life with God. The messages are designed to provide practical ways for the listener to connect with God through the leading of His Spirit.

Our Sunday Morning Celebration services are wonderful times where our church family gathers together to celebrate God. We accomplish this through Scripture-based teaching that is relevant to our everyday lives and worship that invites you into contemplation, praise, and the stimulation of your heart and mind.
